About Meadow Wind
Nursing care is planned and supervised by the Medical Director and the Professional Interdisciplinary team. A detailed plan of care is developed for each resident, which addresses nursing needs, physical therapy, nutrional requirements, social adjustment, and therapeutic activities.
Rehabilitative nursing is stressed. Progressive goals are set for each resident, and the staff strives to elevate each resident to their optimal level of independence.
All residents must be admitted by and remain under the care of a licensed physician. Residents may be admitted on a short or long-term basis, from the hospital or from their home.
Meadow Wind admits residents who are supported by Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance companies. Admission is based on medical need, without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.
